My UPVC Door won’t open properly?
Answer
A few common issues with upvc and composite doors are the gearbox has failed, the lock has failed causing the mechanism to not be able to function or o er time your door has dropped and needs realigning.
Question 2
My key has snapped in the lock?
Answer
Don’t panic, we can try picking the broken key out of the lock using different methods and tools or we have to drill the lock and replace it.
Question 3
My key turns but my door won’t open?
Answer
If you have a UPVC or composite door then your lock may have failed meaning that the cam on the lock will not turn the latch on the deadbolt. If you have a wooden door with a night latch then your snib may have dropped, engaging the deadlock function.
